Off-site upload is live to Hetzner Object Storage (hel1, EU) as a documented interim exception (ADR 0011). Migrate to Bahnhof S3 once available to close the sovereignty exception.

Standalone task (formerly under epic gitborg/gitborg-docs#2, shipped & closed 2026-07-17) — externally gated on Bahnhof releasing their S3 offering.

Detached from epic gitborg/gitborg-docs#2 (now closed/Shipped — the two-destination + restore-drill core is delivered). This task now stands alone: externally gated on Bahnhof making their S3 offering available. Revisit when Bahnhof S3 ships; until then Hetzner (ADR 0011 interim exception) remains the secondary destination.

Retitled. The sovereignty gap this was filed for is closed: ADR 0011's 2026-07-11 update made Glesys Object Storage (Falkenberg, Sweden) the primary off-site destination, and the weekly restore drill reads from it.

What remains is smaller. Hetzner (Helsinki) is still the secondary copy, a documented EU-tier exception. Moving that leg to a Swedish provider is optional and still waits on a suitable S3 offering. Low priority.
